You have a strong understanding of the Internet and New Media.
You are self-motivated and can work virtually (from home) on your own as well as part of an in-person team.
You possess most of, if not all, of the following skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Shared Google Docs.
Knowledge of “Web 2.0″ social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Experience creating video or audio podcasts would be ideal.
The Position
As part of the marketing communication team, the New Media Interactive Marketing Intern position requires a creative marketing mind to implement interactive marketing tasks. Must be organized and able to type quickly. This position would start June 2009 and continue through the end of August 2009 with a flexible schedule.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to meet and interact with influential business leaders around our mission to foster diverse and inclusive work environments for our global clients. Working with Jennifer Brown Consulting, you would gain valuable experience in production, project management, marketing, and business development.
What we need:
Update our online media outlets with guidance: (Facebook Pages, Twitter, Linkedin, Company Blog, new web interfaces).
Develop and maintain social media relationships via blog comments and research.
Web research (look up blogs, websites, + other networks for ideas and partnership leads)
Manage some blog articles and content.

Greenwich Village near NYU, SVA, the New School, and the 9th Street PATH.
Schedule:
Expecting ten hours a week, flexible.
Likely two days a week, some face time, but some independent “virtual” work as well.
