Charlene was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. She attended Morgan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After an internship with the City of Baltimore, she began her professional career as a staff member working for the Mayor of Baltimore. Her career continued when she joined the Baltimore affiliate of the National Urban League as a program manager, training community residents to effectively sit on non-profit boards and committees.
Following that assignment, Charlene spent the next 24 years in the telecommunications’ industry working for several Bell operating companies including AT&T. Her experiences are varied and include sales training, development and delivery; call center management, as well as project and process management. In 1987 Charlene, along with other family members, started their first entrepreneurial company by forming TCH Consultants, a project management and sales training company. In 1989, HBH Enterprises, Inc. was founded and primarily operated as Meineke Car Care Centers with franchises located throughout the metro Atlanta area.
In 1998 after deciding to consult full time, she retired from AT&T. Charlene continues her work today as a consultant working primarily in project and process management, sales training and leadership development.
As a highly motivated leader, Charlene has created, documented and managed employee leadership development programs designed to identify and grow high potential employees. She has created and produced several executable process manuals for companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations, which are designed to ensure that the internal departmental initiatives are aligned with the respective organization’s objectives. As a project manager she has managed numerous projects where she effectively collaborates with leaders across business units; other organizations as well as other companies when necessary to ensure the project objectives are delivered on time, in scope and within budget. As a trainer and course developer, Charlene has written several self-paced training packages for telecommunications salespeople and has over 15 years experience in training inbound and outbound sales representatives as well as the management teams supporting them.

Charlene and her husband have 1 adult daughter and currently reside in Stone Mountain, Ga.
