Elizabeth Derby brings over twenty-five years of line and human capital expertise to Jennifer Brown Consulting where she now serves as a Senior Consultant. She is adept at partnering to drive change and results-focused inclusion and diversity (I&D) approaches at global and U.S. organizations and translating I&D into talent, culture and business results. Having experience with start-up and established initiatives, Elizabeth has specific expertise in Culture and Change Management, Client Connectivity, Implicit Bias Mitigation, Employee/Business Resource Groups, Talent Acquisition, Development & Retention, Employer of Choice, Facilitation & Training, Communication, Insights & Metrics, External Partnerships and Work/Life Integration.

Most recently Elizabeth served as Voya Financial’s Head of Diversity & Inclusion. Previously as Head of Diversity & Inclusion for RBC Capital Markets she led the development and execution of U.S. Diversity and Inclusion and partnered to drive the global strategy. Her experience includes 20 years at Credit Suisse/Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) where she held several roles including Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion, Head of Firm-wide Campus Relations and Head of MBA Recruiting for Investment Banking. She started her career at DLJ as a Public Finance banker.

Elizabeth is also active in the community. She is a current Board Member for Wellesley-in-Westchester and former Board Member of the Forté Foundation. She has also served as a Girl Scout (GS) leader for thirteen years, receiving a GS Outstanding Leader Award. Elizabeth graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Economics and French.
