    Elizabeth Derby is a senior consultant with Jennifer Brown Consulting (JBC).  While at JBC, she has advised organizations, teams and leaders across technology, financial services, health care and pharmaceuticals, retail and fashion, non-profits and others to create more inclusive organizations where all can thrive.  Her Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) expertise includes: assessments and strategic plans; culture transformation and change management; I&D Councils and accountability; analytics and scorecards; strategies to embed I&D across talent acquisition, development and retention; coaching, facilitation and training; unconscious bias interventions; employee/business resource groups; communication and storytelling; optimizing external partnerships; diversity-related policies and work/life integration; and many other topics. As an I&D thought leader, Elizabeth serves as a featured panelist and speaker; she also publishes and is a prolific amplifier of diverse voices and perspectives regarding inclusion and diversity.

    Elizabeth has 30 years of experience in revenue and human resource roles for global and U.S. organizations having up to US$67 billion market capitalization. Elizabeth translates Inclusion and Diversity into talent, culture and business results.  As an inclusion alchemist and bias buster, she takes a holistic and data-informed approach to address systemic issues and drive ground-breaking, sustainable change. Elizabeth has served as Head of Inclusion & Diversity at several organizations including Avanade (a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft), Credit Suisse, RBC Capital Markets and Voya Financial.  She started her career as a Public Finance Banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where she also subsequently led DLJ’s Campus Recruiting.

    Elizabeth graduated Wellesley College with honors with a BA in Economics and French.  She is also active in the community – currently President for Wellesley-in-Westchester and former Forté Foundation Board Member and recognized Girl Scouts “Outstanding Leader”.  She and her husband live in Larchmont, NY, and they have four children.
