Brian is the senior executive in charge of the JBC Western Region Division, responsible for Business Development, Business Processing, and Business Delivery. He also provides consulting and executive coaching for selected strategic engagements.
Brian brings over 20 years of corporate, non-profit, and academic experience to his role as Managing Director for JBC. In the role, Brian is able to drive business development opportunities, as well as the design and implementation of leadership development strategies and training, executive coaching, educational program design, HR strategy and cultural transformation. His work in diversity and inclusion often involves diversity council and ERG strategy development and alignment with business objectives.
His professional experiences include serving as a Senior Managing Consultant and Practice Lead for Capital H Group, Vice President of Client Solutions at Lambert & Associates, Director of Recruiting and Human Resources for Marakon Consulting, Managing Consultant at the Kaleidoscope Group, Interim Director of Admissions and Director of Multicultural Recruiting for the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and Director of Recruiting and Educational Programs for the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
Brian’s consulting and coaching work has spanned most industries, and includes corporate leaders as well as leading governmental agencies and universities. Companies include Apogee, Ashland Inc., CDM, Owens Corning, KeyCorp Banks, Hewlett Packard, ConAgra Foods, American Veterinary Medical Association, Deloitte and Touche, Duracell NA and Europe, Caterpillar, Marakon and Associates, McGraw Hill Education, Standard & Poor’s, Hyatt Corporation, EATON Electrical, TAP Pharmaceutical Products, Heitman, DHL Express, Ohio Casualty, Rockwell Collins, Shell Oil, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, NISH, Zurich North America, Northwestern University Law School, Case Western Reserve Law School, University of Chicago GSB, Kellogg Graduate School of Business, and Columbia Business School.
He holds degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Miami University of Ohio. His other activities include being a keynote speaker in the areas of leadership development and the cultural implications of organizational change, as well as being a board member of educational and non-profit arts organizations. He has lived in South America and has worked extensively in Latin America, Asia and the European Continent. Brian was recently featured in the book, “Apples Are Square – Thinking Differently About Leadership” by Susan Smith Kuczmarski and Thomas D. Kuczmarski.
