Gloria brings over 25 years of corporate, non-profit, and government experience to her role as Senior Consultant. She has designed and implemented performance management, leadership and development strategies and training, as well as provided executive coaching, contract and union negotiations, and mediation. She prides herself on helping individuals, teams and organizations create environments where all people “can be and do their best.” Her work in diversity and inclusion includes establishment of executive diversity steering committees and diversity councils, as well as the design, development and implementation of classes that provide awareness and skill building in the areas of general diversity and of specific dimensions of diversity, e.g., race & ethnicity, sexual orientation, privilege, generations and gender.
Her professional experiences include working with clients such as American Red Cross, Chicago Board of Education, Digital Opportunity Trust, Fetzer Institute, Harpo, Inc., Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Planned Parenthood, Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois, and the University of Chicago Hospitals.
She has subcontracted with organizations such as Lambert & Associates, Capital H Group, The TRACOM Group, General Physics, Friend & Associates, Inc., Ambrose Consulting, and ProGroup, Inc. Her work as a professional subcontracting consultant has been with clients including Advocate Health Care, American Bar Association, American Family Insurance, Ameritech Cellular & Paging, Apogee Enterprises, Board of Education (IN and MI), CN Railroad (US and Canada), Cisco Systems Technologies (US and Europe), ConAgra Foods, Kmart, McGraw-Hill Corporate, McGraw-Hill Education, Maritz Performance Improvement Company, Merck Pharmaceuticals, NISH, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Price Waterhouse Coopers, 7-11 Stores, and Standard & Poors.
Her undergraduate studies were in Psychology and Education at Loyola University. She also holds many professional certifications, including MBTI with the Center for the Application of Psychological Type and Social Styles with the TRACOM Group. Gloria has also served as board member with Project Equality and works with professional organizations such as the American Society for Training and Development and the Human Resources Management Association Committee – Training & Development Subcommittee. Her community projects include work with the Double E Program for high school students in Chicago, IL and Project Equality.
