    Christine Juang is a first generationTaiwanese-American living on Ohlone/Ramaytush land, currently known as San Francisco, California. She is community-builder, creative, non-profit program manager, speaker & facilitator, who is passionate about empowering all communities to more deeply engage with issues of social & racial justice, and works to help individuals and organizations embody values of inclusivity & equity.

    With over 10 years of working direct service through various non-profits focused on serving families & youth, Christine has on-the-ground experience seeing how issues of racial & social justice impact marginalized or underrepresented communities at every level ranging from an individual to a systemic standpoint. She is deeply committed to making J.E.D.I. principles personal and helping everyone find their place in the social change ecosystem. She is a certified J.E.D.I. practitioner & consultant through Holistic Underground, and practices a strength-based, trauma-informed approach with all her work.

    She currently serves as the Director of Community Education & Outreach with Hate is a Virus, a grassroots non-profit addressing anti-Asian racism & hate, and is the host of their Instagram Live series: Real Talk Tuesdays. Since the rise of anti-Asian hate & violence due to COVID-19, Christine has been holding healing circles in community and company spaces to create safe spaces for AAPI and BIPOC to process, grieve, and connect through our collective & individual experiences. She is also a Senior Program Manager at Safe & Sound, working to prevent child abuse by addressing systemic root causes that impact marginalized families.
