    Senior Consultant

Mary is an experienced consultant specializing in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and Organizational Transformation. She has an extensive background in strategy development and implementation of cross-functional workplace change initiatives, including EDI programs, in a Fortune 100 setting.

Most recently, Mary spent 13 years at Nike holding roles of increasing responsibility across Finance and Workplace Experience.  She led the development of Nike’s first enterprise strategy for disability inclusion, resulting in the formation of a digital accessibility team, centralized funding for accommodations, global training for retail employees, and Nike’s first public commitment to advancing disability inclusion.  She also served as an embedded EDI resource within the Workplace Experience team, leading efforts to embed Universal Design into architectural standards and end-to-end meetings and events operations, reducing barriers within the workplace.  Her experience leading a 200+ person organization gives her a deep appreciation for the challenges and complexities executives face today.

Mary is passionate about helping companies build a more equitable and inclusive work environment where all employees are driven to contribute because they can see a future for themselves.  She does this through her work at JBC, in addition to partnering with clients across industries as an Inclusion Consultant with Disability:IN, the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion globally.

Mary earned a Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and End-User Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.  Originally from Wisconsin, Mary is currently based in Portland, Oregon. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and traveling with her husband.
