    JULIA MORENO

    Client Services Manager

    Julia Moreno was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to two active-duty military parents. Their careers took her on a journey around the globe from a young age and solidified her passion for travel and exploring perspectives beyond her own.

    In May of 2020, Julia graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at UF, Julia was able to sharpen her skills as a leader, mentor, and active listener through her extracurricular activities. As a member of the executive board for Disability Resource Center Ambassadors she learned the necessity for seeking accessibility and inclusion in all the spaces we occupy. As a board, we were able to uplift other voices through engaging programming and compelling storytelling to bring change to our campus and local community.

    Additionally, she served as the Communications Director for Bookmark’d, a student-led technology start-up with the goal of making textbooks more financially accessible via an e-commerce platform. Julia worked alongside the executive board to solidify the mission and develop the voice of the brand. She is excited to see the web application launch later this year.

    Julia continues to expand her network through leadership conferences and developmental workshops. She challenges herself in new fields through online programs ranging from JavaScript fundamentals, Fundamentals of Organizing, and Program Management. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and visiting the national parks. Julia currently lives in Florida with her partner Patrick and their lively hound dog, Milo.
