Katy holds two degrees from the University of Georgia - a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration. They have a special academic interest in education equity, particularly on how to support and contribute to the social mobility of historically underrepresented students in higher education. For the past seven years, Katy has served with several non-profits and community efforts that support education equity and disability rights.
ln her free time, Katy enjoys performing improv comedy, traveling (especially to national parks), going to concerts, and hanging out with her chihuahua, Bucky.
